It is not difficult to guess how this will affect his health in general and blood pressure in particular.

Further, one of the commandments says: "Love your neighbor as yourself." This means that the people around you should be treated attentively, patiently, kindly and, of course, not be angry (after all, anger is also a sin). What happens to us in everyday life? I return to my situation, when all my thoughts were about whether the local priest would have time to come to unleash me. For some reason, Fr. Vladimir could not come to us at the appointed time. And then, realizing the tragedy of my situation, I began to pray for the help of my grandfather, the Hieromartyr Fr. Alexandra (Nikolsky). Repentance, prayer, communion, unction, fasting - this is where you need to start if you are serious about getting rid of any of your ailments. And now I want to give a prayer to Hieromartyr Alexander Nikolsky, as well as some information about his life and martyrdom. Alexander Matveyevich Nikolsky was born on August 1, 1869 in the village of Zolotarevo, Mtsensk district, Oryol province, in the family of a priest.

All his life he served in the Karachevsky district of the Bryansk region, in the villages of Gremyachevo and Rachitsa. He seemed to be an ordinary village priest, but he was distinguished by excessive kindness to people, he devoted himself entirely to serving God. Even during the life of Father Alexander, there were legends about his kindness and love for God and people. Much later, almost 30 years after the death of Fr. Alexandra, his fellow countrymen remembered their father and told their children and grandchildren about him. He was just an amazing person, he was always ready to help his neighbor in any way he could. Often, when he came to the house of poorly living people, he not only took nothing for his service, but literally every last penny, turning out his pockets, left the owners of the house. At the same time, he did not care much whether he himself would have a piece of bread for dinner. People called him "saint" during his lifetime. Any person at any time could come to him with his problems, his pain and receive good advice and consolation. No one and no request for Fr. Alexander did not refuse.

Could the communists endure such love of the people for the village priest? Of course not! And on September 30, 1937, Fr. Alexander was arrested and convicted under Article 58. For six months he was tortured, kept in inhuman conditions (there were so many people in a cramped room that one could only stand close to each other). The priest Alexander Nikolsky (and he was already 69 years old at that time) was offered to renounce his dignity in exchange for freedom. Some of his acquaintances priests did just that, settling quite well afterwards: some became a teacher, some became an accountant. But Fr. Alexander didn't even want to think about anything like that. He perfectly understood what awaited him, and deliberately went to the torment.
